Sharon M. Wasco, PhD, is a community psychologist with decades of experience in the fields of sexual assault and violence prevention research. Dr. Wasco works as an independent evaluator and consultant helping organizations use evidence to make decisions, improve sexual violence prevention and intervention programs, and solve community problems. She was a member of the research team that conducted the nation's first statewide evaluation of sexual and domestic violence services in Illinois; and has worked on applied research projects in Michigan, California, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, Florida, and Idaho.
