BIO
Dr. Kulig earned her Ph.D. in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati, with an emphasis on victimology and crime prevention. Dr. Kulig has published her work on these topics in more than 50 peer-reviewed journal outlets, book chapters, and other writings. She also has previous experience facilitating clinical drug trials for individuals diagnosed with a psychotic disorder. More recently, Dr. Kulig has served as principal investigator on projects that administered national surveys on victimization and consequences of these harms, conducted an evaluability assessment of five service areas within a large child advocacy center, examined data on missing and runaway youth to assess risk and protective factors for sexual exploitation among a vulnerable population, and gathered quantitative and qualitative data on labor trafficking in a Midwestern state.
