Dr. Anderson's research interests are understanding basic behavioral processes in sexual victimization and sexual perpetration in order to inform sexual assault risk reduction and prevention programs, respectively. She has largely worked with college students populations but also with community populations and domestic violence shelters. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who has received advanced training in prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy for PTSD in trauma survivors (including sexual trauma).
