My research expertise is in child abuse, lethality, and injury prevention. I have spent 10 years researching childhood abuse/lethality and injury prevention, and have produced several presentations and publications. In addition, I have experience in multi-source database construction, including a nationwide database for child homicide (most available data represent a limited geographical area) as well as a national, representative database on mass murder, and am currently building one concerning transgender murders. Furthermore, I hold a Graduate Certificate in Crime Analysis, and have been trained in social science methods using spatial and geographic data. Moreover, I have also been a program evaluator and have been trained in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE).
