Dr. Allison Foley is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Augusta University. She has been teaching, studying, and organizing prevention education and awareness programming regarding sexual and relationship violence for over a decade, in partnership with local nonprofit victim service organizations. Through one such partnership, she adapted, implemented and evaluated a gender-based violence prevention program for use with elementary school boys. As the Director of Augusta University’s Center for Social Science Research, she currently assists local law enforcement and the juvenile court system with research and assessment needs with a specific focus on reducing gun violence.
