BIO

Ms. Lipski Cain brings in-depth experience in evaluation design and works closely with partners to create methods and tools that unearth critical findings. In addition, she has an extensive professional background in the field of gender violence prevention and intervention for survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. She has a leadership role with several of The Improve Group’s projects with clients working to end domestic and sexual violence, including with the North Dakota and Wisconsin projects described below. Prior to joining The Improve Group, Ms. Lipski Cain served for eight years as a Violence Prevention Education Coordinator for the University of Minnesota’s Aurora Center for Advocacy and Education, where she developed and facilitated over 300 presentations on the issues, advised the Men Against Gender Violence group, and provided training and supervision to interns and volunteers. Because of Ms. Lipski Cain’s leadership and expertise with sexual assault on college campuses, she was recruited to serve on the board of the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault for two consecutive terms, serving as Treasurer for the second term. In addition to her work with The Improve Group, Ms. Lipski Cain has served as a community faculty member in the Department of Human Services at Metropolitan State University, where she has taught “Gender Violence in Global Perspective” for students majoring in Violence Prevention and Intervention.
