BIO

Amanda P. Bobnis, M.S. is a Research Associate at Development Services Group, Inc. (DSG). For more than 10 years, she has served as an integral member of the Research and Evaluation division. She has extensive expertise in juvenile justice, criminal justice, substance abuse and mental health research, evidence-based programs, program assessment, evaluation design, data collection and analysis, qualitative research, technical assistance, logistics, and support services. Ms. Bobnis has assisted multiple OJJDP– and NIJ–funded evaluations for which she has been responsible for data collection, field testing of survey instruments, as well as data management. She has aided in the development and pilot testing of survey instruments, victim interviews, focus groups, and qualitative databases. Additionally she collects data and maintains survey databases, drafts quarterly and final reports, transcribes and codes qualitative data. In addition to research assistance and project coordination, Ms. Bobnis has used her bilingual skills as a translator on several projects. Ms. Bobnis is a graduate of the University of Maryland. She received her master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.
