There are many national, state, and local level directories of victim services that can help researchers locate a practitioner partner. Here are a few:

General victim service providers

The Office for Victims of Crime provides links to state victim assistance funding administrators and state victim compensation programs through their national map. Many of those state programs have a listing of state and local victim service providers on their website.

Victim service providers focused on violence against women

The Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice, provides a resource map of state domestic violence and sexual assault coalitions and tribal coalitions. Many coalition websites include a list of member programs.

The National Sexual Violence Resource Center maintains a directory of services for victims and survivors that can be searched by state or national level or by type of service.

The National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center link to tribal coalitions working to address violence against women.

The Family Justice Center Alliance offers a searchable directory of affiliated centers.

Ujima provides a list of grantees serving women and girls under its Black Culturally Specific Providers program.

Children’s advocacy centers

Trauma recovery centers

The National Alliance of Trauma Recovery Centers offers a directory of its member programs.
