This webinar from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) presents official statistics on youth and the justice system using key data collections administered by the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). It will examine the latest statistical information on various youth justice topics, including youth victims of violent crime, trends in youth arrest rates, and youth in residential placement facilities.

  • National Juvenile Court Data Archive
  • Juvenile Facility Census Program, which includes the Census of Juveniles in Residential Placement and the Juvenile Residential Facility Census.

A discussant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention will offer insights from a programmatic perspective.
