This webinar from the National Institute of Justice examines state victim compensation programs across the U.S. It will include an overview of the utilization, comprehensiveness, and effectiveness of state victim compensation programs in meeting victims’ needs. The presentation will also discuss the strengths, barriers, and challenges of victim compensation programs. This will be followed by a discussion of how the study has informed policy and practice in Delaware and takeaways for compensation programs across the U.S.
