BIO
My experience primarily involves work on a federally funded project designed to develop a comprehensive, collaborative online network to meet the civil legal needs of crime victims in New York State. The project is a partnership between a state office, a non-profit legal service provider, and a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to justice through innovative uses of technology. My work involves conducting a needs assessment and an evaluation of the network implementation and outcomes. In addition to this project, I have extensive experience partnering with local and state agencies in areas of juvenile justice and child welfare. I am experienced in quantitative and qualitative methods, including sampling design, instrument development, fieldwork, and data analysis. More broadly, the work of the Center for Human Services Research includes needs assessments, logic model development, and the development and maintenance of management information systems to assist organizations in understanding the needs and outcomes of their target populations. Staff at the Center have expertise in areas of victim services, education, health, criminal justice, and children and family services. We are dedicated to providing timely, accurate, and non-partisan information to guide best practice in the human services.
