Sara McGirr, PhD, specializes in evaluation of domestic violence and sexual assault-focused programs and system efforts, including those connecting the dots between violence and reproductive/sexual health. She is passionate about helping programs understand and use their data to improve survivors’ health and well-being and to prevent violence. In her role as Research Scientist with Michigan Public Health Institute, Dr. McGirr has the honor of working with efforts such as the Rape Prevention & Education program, the Michigan Victim Advocacy Network, national DVSA technical assistance organizations, and local DVSA organizations.
