John C. Navarro, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. Navarro is a first-generation scholar who earned a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of Louisville. Current research projects include the implications of registered sex offenders in communities and attitudes toward rape myths among various subcultures of university students.
