BIO

My research focuses on assisting correctional agencies and non-profit organizations to deliver gender- and trauma-responsive supervision and treatment with system-involved women and girls. Additionally, I developed an identification and diversion protocol for child victims of sex trafficking in juvenile detention (InterCSECt). I am also the lead researcher on one of the only validated, peer-reviewed risk/needs/strengths assessment instruments designed by and for system-impacted women and their unique needs, the Women's Risk Needs Assessments (WRNA). For more information, please see www.unlv.edu/ccjp/assesment/wrna.
