BIO
I have performed extensive research in the following areas: cybercrime victimization of adolescents and young adults, human trafficking/prostitution, and sexual victimization of inmates. In regards to cybercrime, I have worked with public high schools to investigate cybervictimization and offending practices, as well as to develop programs. I am currently working with the North Carolina DPS to develop a risk assessment tool for sexual victimization in prison. Lastly, I am working with law enforcement across the U.S. regarding findings from a study of law enforcement practices for combating human trafficking and prostitution.
