Bradley A. Campbell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Louisville. His research is focused on policing, particularly police investigations, decision-making, and responses to victims. He has participated in several research projects with large police departments, including the Houston Police Department's Sexual Assault Kit Action Research Project. Louisville Metropolitan Police Department's Implementation of Body Worn Cameras. Currently, he is the principal research partner of the SAFE Kit Backlog Research Project, a three-year study funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance's Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) that examines the problem of unsubmitted sexual assault kits in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. His work has recently been published in the Journal of Criminal Justice, Crime & Delinquency, Justice Quarterly, Criminology & Public Policy, Police Quarterly, Journal of Forensic Sciences, and Violence Against Women.
