CVR Virtual Institute: Using Trauma Research to Inform Victim Services
The Center for Victim Research is hosting its first virtual institute during the week of August 5-9, 2019. This free online event is designed for victim service providers and victim researchers and is focused on the theme “Using Trauma Research to Inform Victim Services.”

There will be an opening live session on Monday, August 5 which will start at 2pm EST. There will be a live closing session on Friday, August 9at 2pm EST. During the live session, attendees will be able to ask the presenter questions and participate in any interactive components.Participate at your own pace (sessions will take a max of 4 hours per day)! Once the live session ends, all recorded sessions will be available for viewing on the Virtual Institute website.
Throughout the week, you will be able to converse with presenters and other attendees through various discussion forums and live Twitter chats (#CVRchat). We encourage you to network virtually in our networking lounge, where you can sip your choice of drink and chat with other attendees. Feel free to schedule a video chat with people you meet!
