BIO

Alicia has specialized in sexual violence and human trafficking, sex offenders, victims of childhood abuse and polyvictimization across the lifespan, and the efficiency of system-response to victimization. BRAV Consultations objectives are to provide resources for organizations to build capacity, sustainability and increased knowledge of trauma through a human rights perspective. I collaborate with various teams, including attorneys, victim groups, and program designers. I have conducted program evaluations; supported cross-organization collaborations; participated in regional planning meetings; and advocated for trauma-informed system-responses which are culturally-sensitive and gender-responsive, both preventive services and comprehensive wraparound victim services. My current responsibilities at an NGO include project management and developing strategic engagement in marketing materials, grant writing, represent the organization at outreach events, and identify and maintain collaborative agreements between nonprofits for continuing education trainings/workshops and direct services provided by either agency addressing trauma and victim services for youth and adults by integrating research and policy analysis into practice.
