BIO

Bailey Maryfield has been working as a Research Analyst at JRSA since October 2016. Currently, she works primarily on a large grant funded by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). This project, the Center for Victim Research (CVR), aims to create a one-stop resource for victim service providers and researchers to increase access to and the utility of research and data to crime victim services. One of her roles on this project is to monitor and report quarterly on performance measures to the OVC Performance Measurement Tool (PMT). Ms. Maryfield worked with project partners to develop a comprehensive list of performance measures used to track the progress of each area of the project from the delivery of technical assistance to the development of research syntheses. It was ensured that measures were in alignment with the requirements of the PMT. Additionally, she serves on an Evaluation Workgroup that was created to expand on PMT measures to not only track the progress of CVR, but also measure its impact. She has worked with the Evaluation Workgroup to develop logic models for each area of the project and collaborated with project partners to ensure outputs and outcomes of interest are being captured. In addition to performance measurement and evaluation skills, Ms. Maryfield also has a strong background in the collection, cleaning and analysis of criminal justice and victim services data. She has experience with composing data into written reports for dissemination to the general public.
