OJJDP is pleased to present a webinar on the topics of human trafficking prevention and supporting victims of human trafficking. The webinar will be on September 23, 2019, 3-4:30 pm ET. Cynthia Pappas, Senior Policy Advisor, will provide an overview of human trafficking and how OJJDP is addressing this area. Presenters representing National CASA, Office for Victims of Crime TTA Center, and the National Human Trafficking TTA Center will collaborate to offer an array of perspectives on human trafficking, including a discussion on recent research, innovative practices to spot signs of trafficking, and best practices for prevention. This webinar will provide you with a comprehensive and holistic view of the research and best practices in identifying, and tools to prevent human trafficking. A member of Youth Collaboratory’s Youth Catalyst Team will present on how their team’s service approach is informed by and responsive to lived experiences of victims of domestic minor sex trafficking
